Meet the seamstress…
Giovana Carvalho was born on September 03, 1975 in São Paulo, Brazil and now lives in Cariacica, Espírito Santo, Brazil. At the age of fourteen, she found herself making a dress for her doll- this is where she found herself. She developed a passion for sewing and later began working in textile factories working on enhancing her skills and knowledge.
She then started working at a factory that produced mostly swimwear. She knew swimwear was slightly different, and more elaborate but she faced the challenge head on. Her boss at the time was very understanding and believed in her capacity to learn and excel in making bikinis. She eventually learned the process and hoped she one day could work for herself.
Today, Giovana does everything herself. She cuts, makes the molds, and assembles the suits sewing each and every piece with so much love and care perfecting each step of the process.
On her time off, she enjoys going on small adventures and sharing time with her family and friends. She is very family oriented and loves to shop and go to church to thank God for everything he has done. She is divorced, has no kids and loves animals, specially dogs.
